Bloomsbury Publishing announced today that it is launching into academic publishing with a new imprint: Bloomsbury Academic.

STM publisher Springer has announced that SpringerLink has partnered with CiteULike, the social bookmarking website for researchers. SpringerLink is claimed to be one of the world’s largest scientific databases. The deal seeks to ensure that researchers using SpringerLink will benefit from reference management services.
